With Gods help, the Northwest Baptist Foundation serves as the trust agency of the Northwest Baptist Convention offering a means whereby individuals and institutions can provide perpetual support for Christian causes within our region and around the world.
The Foundation provides financial services for individuals, churches and institutions
o Promotes Christian estate stewardship through wills, trusts, and endowments.
o Receives, invests, and manages assets and funds through trusts.
o Makes distributions, loans and scholarships as specified by donors to Christian causes and other beneficiaries
The Foundation provides personal services for individuals
o Serves as trustee for revocable and irrevocable trusts.
o Serves as personal representative in probating estates.
o Assists with conservatorships and guardianships.
Financial Accountability
In April 2004 the Foundation was approved for membership in the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA). As a member of ECFA we commit to adhere to standards of accountability, submit our financial statements and other data to the council for their review, and are subject to random field reviews. Our membership in this organization is one step that we take to reinforce our commitment to Christian ethics, financial accountability, and managerial excellence.
