The Northwest Baptist Foundation manages endowment and memorial funds that provide scholarships for students attending college or seminary. These funds have been established by Baptists throughout the great Northwest. The Foundation is pleased to have been chosen to administer the scholarship funds for the benefit of Northwest students.
Scholarships are available for undergraduate students as well as students attending a Southern Baptist Seminary in pursuit of their first Master’s degree.
Undergraduate stude
nts must be affiliated with a Northwest Baptist church, a full-time student, entering their junior or senior year, and must have a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher.
Seminary students must be members of a Southern Baptist Church, have a cumulative G.P.A. of 2.5 or higher, and have completed 15 credit hours of seminary work.
Scholarships are awarded by the Foundation’s board each year during their March meeting. Since there are a limited number of scholarships available, it is important that an application be completed (grade transcripts or reports, application and two (2) letters of recommendation) before the FEBRUARY 1 deadline each year. It is the student’s responsibility to fully complete their application.
