Funds Available
The NWBF houses many funds established by donors in their estate plans. We would love to partner with you in your ministry. Please contact us if any of these funds have an interest to you.
pastor assistance fund
Provides financial support for pastors and their families in the Northwest Baptist Convention who are experiencing financial need.
Example: Assistance with major medical bill or disaster relief.
Innovative ministry grant
Provides grants to churches and ministries in the Northwest to support bold, innovative outreach initiatives and new ministry ideas that go beyond the routine ministry activities and creatively share the Gospel in their communities.
garlets fund
A fund supporting and assisting rural churches in the Northwest.
Example: Assistance with parking lot repairs.
equipping the saints fund
Offers scholarships and financial assistance for Christian training, ministry leadership development, and educational opportunities that strengthen believers and ministry leaders in the Northwest.
Examples: Paying for speaker at ministry training event; assistance with costs to attend apologetics conference.
memorial stone fund
This Fund is intended to provide a means of financial assistance for ministry-related needs which may arise within or among the Northwest Baptist Convention or like-minded institutions and for which other funds may not be readily available.
Examples: NWBC staff planning retreat, NWBC evangelism exposure experience, NWBC staff Indonesia Mission Trip, church health assessment sponsored dinner.
Johnson missionary housing fund
Provides temporary housing for Pacific Northwest missionaries on short-term assignment in the United States and for collegiate ministry leaders between housing situations.
